Go To Cafe’s Feature Flavor of the Month: Around Asia

Asia, as the largest and most populous continent, is home to many cultures, each with its own characteristic cuisine. Asian cuisine is considered the “culture of food within a society” due to the beliefs, cooking methods, and the specific ingredients used throughout the continent of Asia. We are excited to feature these Asian dishes in the café throughout the week of September 16th – 20th. Please join us from 8:00 – 10:00 for breakfast and 11:00 – 1:30 for lunch, Monday – Friday. Don’t forget we’re open to the public, so bring your friends, neighbors, family, or co-workers and stop by for an experience you don’t want to miss.

Featured Salad (Thailand):
Thai Salad- Chicken, greens, cabbage, peppers, carrots, herbs, green onion, peanuts, and sesame-ginger dressing

Featured Sandwich (Vietnam):
Pork Banh Mi- Slow roasted pork butt topped with pickled vegetables, and herbs served on a toasty baguette

Featured Soup (Asian Fusion):
Healing Soup- Greens, mushrooms, eggs, and bone broth

Featured Dessert (Phillipines):
Pandan Coconut Cake- Pandan is a tropical herb used in Asian cuisine that tastes of grassy vanilla with a hint of coconut

Butter Chicken (India)- Roasted chicken in savory, spiced tomato and butter sauce known for its rich texture

Pad See Ew (Thailand)- Thinly sliced beef tossed with Chinese broccoli & rice noodles in umami sauce
